The Mouse's Tale

Okay, now for some real Usenet esoterica... for those of you who never stumbled on the newsgroup alt.adjective.noun.verb.verb.verb, this was a group in which all the posts had to be in the form of adjective-noun-verb-verb-verb (for example, to welcome someone to the group, you might write: "alt.warm.welcome.give.greet.extend"). It was a linguistic exercise turned into an art form. In 1996, I adapted Lewis Carrol's Mouse's Tale into this annuvvish format.

Read the original poem first, then my adaptation will make more sense.

The Mouse's Tale
